Huh,

Just did an emergence search on Google and got the following Adwords ad:

Bleeding Piles
Find Bleeding Piles!
Buy Bleeding Piles on eBay
www.ebay.co.uk

Mad waste of advertising money.

Let's face it, if you've ever had them, you'll be very unlikely to buy any more!

Actually, I might try auctioning a bunch.

What a great start to the World Cup!

I was really hoping Costa Rica would get something out of their game with Germany, but it was not to be. Still, a game that ended 4-2 that included almost constant end-to-end goal mouth action bodes well for the rest of the tournament. It looks like England will have tough opponents going into the second round after Ecuador outplayed Poland to win 2-0.

Fingers crossed for this afternoon.

More later..

Catherine, Mary and Ann organised the transport, accommodation and alcohol for the final funeral of Gran.

They did a great job.

All THIRTY relatives from England arrived in Ireland on time, shirts pressed and fairly sober.

The final funeral service was so beautiful. All the grandkids took part by doing readings, bidding prayers or offertory services. Our Irish relatives turned out in force and made us feel most welcome.

Gran had a good few wakes, a very dignified funeral and is now reunited with her husband John.

She'll always be in my thoughts.

More later...

The first funeral took place last night. The grandkids read bidding prayers and Lucy did the main reading.

On to Ireland next week.

I just hope I can hold things together.

Probably no more for a bit...

Gran is now gravely ill and it's just a matter of time. Ann is by her bedside and I'm on standby for family transport and other things.

Probably no more posts for a while.
